Mastering a scooter gives children a tremendous sense of achievement. First it was a tricycle. That was fun. But a long time ago (last week). ‘Now I have grown up’. ‘I can balance’. It gives heaps of confidence. It is no wonder the wheels of the scooter never stop turning as long as there are children on the playground.
