Clown's Hat for tension-related headaches

May 23, 2017

Did you know that more and more children is referred for physiotherapy because they suffer from tension-related headaches and neck pains. The problems are caused by an excessive use of tablets and smartphones and laptop computers. When a child sits with head bowed at an angle of 30 degrees the neck has to bear a load of 18 kg.

It helps, however, to do exercises, e.g. by carrying an object on their head like Gonge's Clown's Hat. This exercise will strengthen the neck.
